• Increases additional court costs in Baldwin County from $15 to $40.50 per case, assessed on all civil and criminal cases (including traffic and small claims) filed in circuit court, district court, and juvenile court.

• Requires collected fees to be deposited into the Baldwin County Law Library and Judicial Administration Fund for court employee salaries and continued court operations.

• Extends the expiration date of the court costs from September 30, 2013 to September 30, 2015, at which time the section will be repealed.

• Authorizes the presiding circuit court judge to adjust or eliminate the court costs if state funding becomes available, and allows adjustment within the $40.50 maximum as deemed necessary.
