Commends Sergeant Neil Patrick Fetner of the Clanton Police Department for being named 2010 Officer of the Year.

Officer of the Year criteria include leadership, attendance, productivity, judgment, decisiveness, and sensitivity, recognizing performance well above basic assignment requirements.

Sergeant Fetner began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer with the Roanoke Police Department in 1998 and graduated from the 125th Session of the Northeast Alabama Police Academy in November 2002.

Fetner previously served with the Jacksonville Police Department and Jacksonville State University Police Department before joining the Clanton Police Department in 2009 in the Administrative Division.

House adopted the resolution on March 1, 2012, and the Senate adopted it on March 20, 2012.
