• Designates the portion of Alabama Highway 143 between Mile Markers 5 and 6 in Millbrook, Alabama as the "Officer James Fezatte Memorial Highway."

• Officer Fezatte served over 20 years in the United States Air Force, fought in the Gulf War, and was killed in a vehicle crash on March 28, 2008 while responding to a civil disturbance call as a Millbrook Police Department Officer.

• Requests the Alabama Department of Transportation erect appropriate signage incorporating the Great Seal of the State of Alabama and, if possible, the official emblems of the United States Air Force and Millbrook Police Department, with all costs paid by private funds from the Fezatte Family.

• The memorial designation does not alter the common designation "Alabama Highway 143 between Mile Markers 5 and 6" and does not affect postal or address designations for the area.

• A copy of the resolution shall be presented to Officer Fezatte's surviving family members, including his wife Cyndi and sons Austin and Travis.
