Mourns the death of Mr. Vernon "Pete" Forby Sartin of Haleyville, Alabama, who died on December 29, 2011, at age 76.

Recognizes Mr. Sartin's service in the United States Army National Guard and his lifelong residence in the Sunny Home Community.

Lists survivors including his wife of 58 years, Betty Joyce Sartin; one son; one daughter; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Honors Mr. Sartin as a valued community member whose memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
