Designates March 30 as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" in Alabama, beginning in 2012 and annually thereafter.

Commemorates March 30, 1973, when all U.S. troops withdrew from Vietnam under the Treaty of Paris.

Encourages Alabamians to annually observe this day with activities and events honoring Vietnam veterans for their sacrifice and service.

Establishes an annual recognition to address the lack of welcome Vietnam veterans initially received upon returning from war to a politically divided country.

Passed by the Alabama House on February 14, 2012, and adopted by the Senate on February 16, 2012.
