Commends Phillips Elementary School for being named a TorchBearer School, one of only 13 in Alabama to earn this prestigious status.

School achieved excellence on the Alabama Reading and Math Test, Stanford Achievement Test, and had 95 percent of 12th-graders pass all required subjects on the Alabama High School Graduation exam.

Recognizes the hard work and dedication of teachers and students in pursuing educational excellence.
