Commends Representative Dexter Grimsley for induction into the Northwestern State University Athletic Hall of Fame in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Recognizes Grimsley's college basketball career at Northwestern State from 1989-93, during which he earned 1,437 points (8th in NSU history), 664 rebounds (14th all-time), 153 blocks (3rd all-time), and 139 steals (9th all-time) in 110 games played.

Honors Grimsley's Southland Conference Freshman of the Year award, co-captain role in his final three seasons, and mentoring of elementary school children as required by NSU coach Dan Bell.

Acknowledges Grimsley's service as chief juvenile probation officer in Henry County since 1995 and as an Alabama State representative for the 85th District since his election in 2010.
