Key Fire Hose, a division of KFH Industries, was established in 1988 in Miami, Florida by Charles Genthner with 16 looms purchased from Europe.

KFH Industries began fire hose manufacturing in Dothan, Alabama in 2005, which doubled manufacturing space and improved efficiencies while meeting ISO quality control standards.

In 2010, KFH Industries completely relocated all operations from Miami to Dothan, Alabama.

KFH Industries produces hose for municipal fire fighting, industrial, military, marine, agricultural, irrigation, and forestry applications to meet NFPA, UL, MSHA, FM, FDA, and MIL-H-24606 standards.

The Alabama House of Representatives recognizes KFH Industries, Incorporated as the "World's Largest Fire Hose Manufacturer" with over 300 distributors reaching more than 70 countries worldwide, effective February 21, 2012.
