Frances Turnipseed Brunson is recognized and honored by the Alabama House of Representatives on her 95th birthday, March 15, 2012.

Born March 15, 1917, in the Pike Road community of Montgomery County to Will Tom and Zelma Alford Turnipseed.

Worked more than 16 years as manager of the Children's Shoe Department at Montgomery Fair Department Store and approximately 23 years with the State of Alabama Agriculture Department with secretarial and egg marketing responsibilities.

Married Joseph Graham Brunson in 1951; has two sons, five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Long-time member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, where she served as Sunday School teacher and church committee participant.
