• Commends Joshua Stephen Karg for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America.

• Karg, a member of Troop 226 chartered to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, completed his Eagle Board of Review on December 8, 2011, at age 16.

• Served in multiple leadership positions including Patrol Leader, Chaplain's Aide, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader; received induction into the Order of the Arrow in 2010.

• For his Eagle Scout Project, renovated and refurbished Carnival Booth Games for the 4th of July Festival at Our Lady of Sorrows in Homewood, Alabama, and constructed new game apparatus to support church and school fund-raising.

• The House of Representatives directs that Karg receive a copy of this resolution in recognition of his exemplification of Scouting's values including self-discipline, self-reliance, good citizenship, and devotion to duty.
