North River Christian Academy basketball team won the 2012 Division 1 State Championship of the Alabama Christian Education Association.

Team completed a perfect 25-0 season and achieved their 50th consecutive victory on February 25, 2012, defeating Tabernacle Christian School Torches 37-31 for their second consecutive title.

Coach John Teasley led the Chargers, who demonstrated teamwork, hard work, and sportsmanship throughout their championship season.

House of Representatives honors and commends the team for their accomplishments and extends congratulations and best wishes for continuing success.
