Recognizes the 25th Anniversary of Land Trust of North Alabama, incorporated in 1987 as Alabama's first land trust serving the 10 northernmost counties.

Land Trust currently preserves and maintains 6,113 acres including ten miles of creek and river frontage and three urban nature preserves totaling 2,920 acres within Huntsville city limits.

Volunteers have created and maintain more than 40 miles of trails across the nature preserves, with 52 public trails available from dawn to dusk for hiking, biking, running, bird watching, picnicking, education, and reflection.

House of Representatives extends highest commendation to the management, employees, and volunteers of Land Trust of North Alabama for outstanding achievement in conservation, public recreation, and environmental education.

Resolution directs that a copy be provided for appropriate display with best wishes for continued success in future endeavors.
