Commends the 2012 All-Alabama Academic Team for outstanding scholastic achievement and recognition by the Alabama Community College System.

Selects two accomplished students from each of 25 colleges in the Alabama Community College System who meet criteria including a minimum 3.5 GPA, leadership on campus, completion of at least 12 semester hours, and plans to pursue education at a four-year institution.

Names 50 honored students from Alabama Community College System institutions, including representatives from all 25 participating colleges across the state.

Recognizes the All-Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program, which has supplemented the All-USA National Academic Team Program since its founding in 1995, sponsored by USA Today, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the American Association of Community Colleges.

Offers congratulations to the team members on their achievement with best wishes for continuing success in future endeavors.
