Recognizes the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs (AFWC) during its 117th Annual State Convention at Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufaula, Alabama, May 4-6, 2012.

Acknowledges AFWC's founding in 1895 and charter into the General Federation of Women's Clubs in 1907, with focus on community improvement through volunteer service in arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs, and public affairs.

Highlights AFWC President Cynthia Geis's scholarship initiative "AFWC Scholarships -- Our Vision, Our Legacy," a program established in 1898 that has provided scholarships to deserving women.

Notes that AFWC comprises approximately 2,000 volunteers ranging in age from 14 to 90 and maintains a tradition of excellence in civic leadership.

Directs provision of a copy of the resolution to the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs for presentation and display.
