Recognizes and honors Etowah County Sheriff's Office Chief Johnny Grant, Investigator Josh Morgan, and Reserve Deputy Michael Bishop as nominees for the 2012 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

Commends the three officers for their extraordinary courage during tornado rescue operations in late April 2011 when they entered a severely damaged home to rescue members of the Stillwell family trapped underneath.

Details how Angel Stillwell was trapped between concrete blocks and house joists with the full weight of the house on top of her, requiring the rescuers to work under dangerous conditions while the area remained under tornado warning.

Recognizes that the officers crawled under the damaged structure without hesitation despite risk of being crushed, maintained compassion for victims, and provided comfort while conducting the nearly impossible rescue.

Directs that each officer receive a copy of the resolution as evidence of the Alabama House of Representatives' admiration and esteem for their service.
