Honors Major General P.D. Brown upon his retirement from the Alabama Air National Guard after over 37 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force (1974-1981) and Alabama Air National Guard (1981-present).

Recognizes General Brown's 7,500+ flight hours as a command pilot in multiple aircraft types and his career progression from instructor pilot at Craig Air Force Base to various command positions.

Commends General Brown's leadership at the 117th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, including commanding the unit's response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and overseeing the transition from RF-4C to KC-135R aircraft.

Acknowledges General Brown's successful preservation of the 117th's mission during the 2005 Base Realignment Closure Commission and his service as Commander of the Alabama Air National Guard overseeing multiple wings and units.

Extends the House of Representatives' admiration and appreciation to General Brown for his distinguished military career and community involvement in the Birmingham area.
