Commends Bryan Fisher, a Conservation Officer with the Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, for being named 2012 National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Fisher is a native of Fayette County, 1996 University of Alabama graduate, and previously won the Alabama State Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award for his character, integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.

Since joining the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in 2006, Fisher has made more than 1,000 arrests for hunting and fishing violations.

Fisher was named Alabama Wildlife Officer of the Year in 2009 by the Shikar-Safari Club International and is an active member of Ducks Unlimited and the Fraternal Order of Police.

The House of Representatives offers its heartiest congratulations to Fisher on his national law enforcement honor and extends best wishes for all future endeavors.
