Commends the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs (AFWC) in recognition of its 117th Annual State Convention held May 4-6, 2012 at Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufaula, Alabama, with the theme "AFWC Volunteers - Putting Vision into Action"

Notes that AFWC was organized in 1895 and chartered into the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) in 1907 to promote community improvement through volunteer service in arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs, and public affairs

Recognizes President Cynthia Geis's (2010-2012) special project focus on "AFWC Scholarships - Our Vision, Our Legacy" and the organization's scholarship program that has benefitted countless women over 113 years

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to AFWC for appropriate presentation and display as tribute and praise
