Commends James Walker Reich for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America.

Reich, a member of Troop 53 and son of Ramsay and Connie Reich, received his Eagle Scout award on April 23, 2012, at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

Earned 22 Merit Badges and served in leadership positions including Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader; constructed an observation deck for the wetlands at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve as his Eagle project.

Outstanding student at Mountain Brook High School who serves as a student trainer for varsity football and baseball teams, volunteers in the community, and participated in the Jefferson County Family Court's teen court program.

The House of Representatives directs that Reich receive a copy of the resolution in recognition of his exemplification of Scouting's values including self-discipline, self-reliance, good citizenship, and devotion to duty.
