• Alabama Computer Forensics Institute at Troy University was founded in 2006 within the Information Technology Department to aid law enforcement and educate the public on cybercrime prevention.

• Institute has assisted all levels of law enforcement on more than 400 separate criminal investigations.

• Developed nationally recognized Cyberkids program to educate young people about cybersecurity, presenting to more than 120,000 Alabama youth.
