Honors Chris Lane of Guntersville, Alabama, for winning the first 2012 event of the Bassmaster Southern Open Series with a total weight of 72 pounds and 11 ounces.

Recognizes that Lane earned a provisional berth in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic and was the only angler to weigh in 20 or more pounds each day of the three-day event.

Notes Lane's professional fishing career since 2000, his family involvement with Guntersville First Baptist Church, and this being his third career win.

Acknowledges Lane's community service including hosting an annual youth fishing camp for more than 100 youth and serving as a community ambassador promoting Lake Guntersville tourism.
