• Continues the existence and functioning of the Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure until October 1, 2016, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

• Authorizes the board to provide for staggering of licenses by amending Section 34-1A-5 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

• Sets maximum annual license fees at $150 for individuals and $750 for business entities.

• Establishes licensing requirements including prohibition on license transfer, criminal background checks, and reciprocity provisions for nonresidents holding valid licenses in other states.

• Requires licensees to display licenses at their place of business, include license numbers in advertising, and include board contact information in written service contracts and business notices.
