• Continues the existence and functioning of the Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CRMS) Board until October 1, 2014, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

• Preserves Code of Alabama 1975 Sections 11-98-6 through 11-98-12, which govern the CRMS Board's creation and operation.

• Implements the Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue the board rather than allow it to expire.

• Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
