AL SB162

Allows entities applying for a motor vehicle dealer's license with the Alabama Department of Revenue to provide either a verifiable landline telephone number or a mobile, wireless, or cellular telephone number on their application.

Overrides any existing rules, regulations, or policies enacted by the Alabama Department of Revenue or other state departments or agencies that may require landline telephone numbers.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
