Amends Section 36-25-1 of the Alabama Code relating to ethics to add seasonal gifts as an exception to gift restrictions for school employees.

Permits pupils or their immediate family members to give seasonal gifts to principals, teachers, or other local school system employees under specific conditions.

Gifts must have insignificant economic value of less than $100 per gift and aggregate to less than $250 during any calendar year.

Requires that circumstances make clear no quid pro quo (exchange of favors) was understood or implied between the gift giver and school employee.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
