• Dallas County Commission may call an election within 30 days of the act's effective date to determine voter sentiment on Sunday alcoholic beverage sales.

• If a majority votes "Yes," licensed retail vendors may legally sell or dispense alcoholic beverages on Sundays between 12:00 P.M. (noon) and 9:30 P.M., and after 12:00 P.M. on Sundays when New Year's Eve (December 31) occurs.

• Election shall be held as a special election or during a subsequent county election with at least three weeks' notice; election costs paid from county general fund.

• Only qualified county voters may vote in the election; if a majority votes "No," alcoholic beverages may not be sold or dispensed on Sunday after 2:00 A.M. unless authorized by subsequent election.

• Dallas County may enact ordinances to regulate aspects of Sunday alcoholic beverage sales; act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval.
