Authorizes the President of the University of South Alabama to appoint and employ police officers with full duties and powers of police officers to protect university property and grounds.

Police officers may eject trespassers from university buildings and grounds, arrest persons for any offense, and transport offenders to the nearest district or municipal court.

Officers shall cooperate with Mobile and Fairhope municipal authorities and have jurisdiction coextensive with those municipalities' police jurisdictions.

Peace officers' primary duty is enforcing law on university-owned, leased, or controlled property; they may act as peace officers elsewhere only when pursuing offenders on campus or making arrests within university boundaries.

Officers are prohibited from entering classrooms to enforce traffic or parking citations; the act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and Governor approval.
