AL SB403

Increases the monthly supervision fee for parolees and probationers supervised by the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles from $30 to $50 per month.

Removes the requirement that supervision fees must be paid by the fifth day of each month, allowing more flexible payment timing.

Applies to any person on parole or probation with the Board of Pardons and Paroles who has an income and is required to contribute toward supervision and rehabilitation costs.

Permits employers to deduct the $50 monthly fee from parolees' and probationers' net earned income by prior agreement and remit to the Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and gubernatorial approval.
