Defines a recreational park trailer as a transportable unit with body width not exceeding 14 feet, built on a single chassis, designed for seasonal or temporary living quarters, with maximum total area of 400 square feet when constructed to ANSI A-119.5 standards.

Requires all recreational park trailers manufactured for sale in Alabama to be constructed in compliance with American National Standards Institute ANSI A-119.5 standards for park trailers.

Deems a recreational park trailer to comply with ANSI A-119.5 standards if the manufacturer submits to independent third-party plant inspections or bears the seal of the Recreational Park Trailer Industry Association certifying compliance.

Allows any other third-party plant inspection program to satisfy compliance requirements if approved by the State Fire Marshal.

Exempts recreational park trailers that meet these requirements from classification as mobile homes and from regulation by the Manufactured Housing Commission.
