Repeals sections 27-1-1 through 27-1-11 of the Alabama Insurance Code, effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.

Eliminates requirements that health insurance policies cover FDA-approved drugs when used for off-label indications if recognized in standard reference compendia or medical literature.

Removes provisions requiring insurance coverage for medically necessary services associated with administration of off-label drugs.

Eliminates the requirement that insurance policies recognize persons licensed under Chapter 9 of Title 34 as "physicians" or "doctors" for purposes of coverage.
