Repeals Alabama Code sections 27-1-18 through 27-1-20, which addressed mental health insurance coverage, assignment of insurance benefits to providers, and patient disclosure requirements.

Removes requirements that group and blanket health insurance policies cover mental health services provided by psychiatrists and psychologists when such services are included in the policy.

Eliminates provisions requiring insurers to pay providers directly when beneficiaries assign reimbursement rights and removes provider remedies for non-payment.

Repeals the "Patient Right to Know Act," which required insurers to provide enrollees with written descriptions of plan terms, coverage provisions, exclusions, and contact information for additional details.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
