Applies exclusively to the City of Goodwater in Coosa County and allows voters to authorize Sunday alcohol sales through a municipal election called within 30 days of the act's effective date.

Ballot question asks voters whether to permit legal sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages on Sundays between 1:00 P.M. and 9:30 P.M., and on New Year's Eve (December 31) after 1:00 P.M.

If a majority votes "Yes," licensed vendors may legally sell alcoholic beverages during the specified hours; if "No," beverages may not be sold on Sunday after 2:00 A.M. except as otherwise authorized by law.

Election procedures follow standard municipal election rules with costs paid from the general fund; notice must be published or posted at city hall at least three weeks before the election date.

Municipalities may enact ordinances to regulate Sunday alcoholic beverage sales, and this act supplements rather than repeals existing city authority under state and local law.
