Designates March 30 as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" in Alabama beginning in 2012 and annually thereafter.

Commemorates the 38th anniversary of March 30, 1973, when all U.S. troops withdrew from Vietnam under the Treaty of Paris.

Encourages Alabamians to annually observe the day with activities and events to honor Vietnam veterans for their sacrifice and service.

Recognizes that Vietnam veterans were initially denied proper homecoming recognition upon returning to a politically divided country.

Senate adopted the resolution on February 8, 2012, and the House adopted it on February 14, 2012.
