Mourns the death of Mobile Police Department Officer Steven Caserio Dion Green, who was killed in the line of duty on February 3, 2012, at age 36 while apprehending a robbery suspect.

Officer Green was born February 25, 1975, in Mobile, a 1995 graduate of Blount High School, and member of Lily Missionary Baptist Church who coached Little League Football.

Joined the Mobile Police Department on May 22, 2010, completed academy training in July 2010, and was assigned to 1st Precinct (October 13, 2010) and then Squad 4, 5th Precinct (December 3, 2010).

Survived by his wife Valerie McQueen Green, three children (Jasmine, Tariyan, and Steven Jr.), and numerous family members.

Alabama Legislature records his death with deepest sorrow and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and service, extending sympathy to his grieving family.
