Recognizes Judie Osborn as the Top Community Corrections Director in Alabama, honored at the Alabama Judicial College and Administrative Office of Courts annual conference in Huntsville.

Osborn has served as Director of the 25th Judicial Court Services program in Marion and Winston Counties since 1997, serving approximately 1,000 people annually as an alternative sentencing option.

The program has saved taxpayers $14.6 million in incarceration costs since 2006 and generated $63,300 in fees and court costs to local courts.

Osborn dedicates her work to helping individuals overcome addiction and reintegrate into society through rehabilitation efforts, drug court programs, safe driving courses, and anger management classes.

The Legislature of Alabama commends Osborn for her exceptional dedication to community corrections and rehabilitation of inmates.
