Commends the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Mobile on its 100-year centennial, founded on January 26, 1912, by 36 members of the Greek community in Mobile.

Recognizes the church's original purpose to establish a community for Greek Orthodox worship and to help Greek immigrants assimilate into American culture.

Acknowledges a centennial celebration scheduled for June 22-24, 2012, honoring the church's contributions to faith and to Mobile and Alabama.

Congratulates Reverend Father Elias Stevens, Parish Council President George Catranis, Centennial Committee Chair Patti Panayiotou, and all parishioners for their service to the church and community.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided for presentation and display at the centennial celebration.
