Amends Section 1 of Act 87 of the 1955 Regular Session to modify provisions governing administrative divisions in the Mobile County Judge of Probate's office.

Judge of Probate may create and establish administrative divisions in the office as determined necessary or convenient for efficient performance of functions and duties.

Judge may assign functions and duties to divisions and delegate powers to division chiefs, who are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Judge of Probate.

Division chiefs' salaries must be at least 80% of the minimum salary for administrative assistant positions but not more than 85% of the maximum salary of the chief clerk position in the office.

Act becomes effective immediately following passage and approval by the Governor or otherwise becoming law.
