Amends Section 22-15A-6 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to prohibit smoking on hospital campuses entirely, eliminating any option to designate smoking areas on hospital property.

Extends smoking prohibition to all areas of a hospital and its campus, including buildings, parking areas, plazas, vehicles, underground passages, and private offices.

Exempts public thoroughfares and sidewalks adjacent to hospitals that are not owned by the hospital, and hospital-owned or leased property used exclusively for non-health-care purposes.

Changes reference from "Hospitals, Health" to "Health care clinics" in the existing list of facilities with smoking restrictions, reflecting the expanded hospital campus smoking ban.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
