HB201 Summary

• Grant a 5% salary increase to all Alabama state employees, legislative personnel, and county health department employees beginning October 1, 2013.

• Provide a 2.5% salary increase to the same eligible employees beginning October 1, 2014.

• Provide a 2.5% salary increase to the same eligible employees beginning October 1, 2015.

• Exclude from these increases any local judicial supplements, appellate judges, and employees covered by labor agreements or contracts.

• Require the State Personnel Department Director and applicable legislative officials to revise pay schedules and coordinate with the state Comptroller for warrant issuance.
