Amends Section 28-1-3.1 of the Alabama Code to allow unlimited quantities of alcoholic beverages purchased from military liquor stores for active duty, reserve, and retired armed forces members and their dependents.

Currently limits eligible purchasers to three liters of liquor and one case of beer, or three liters of wine and one case of beer, or two cases of beer; this bill removes those specific quantity restrictions.

Maintains requirement that purchasers be 21 years of age or older and that beverages be for private use and not for resale.

Preserves existing prohibitions on possessing alcoholic beverages in vehicle passenger areas and requires sufficient identification showing beverages were purchased in Alabama.

Maintains penalties for resale or possession exceeding allowed quantities as a misdemeanor with fines from $50 to $500 and up to six months jail time.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
