• Employment benefits include salary or wages, insurance, paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave, personal days), and retirement or pension contributions.

• Applies to employees at state, county, and municipal government levels, including governmental corporations and authorities.

• Statement must also include the cost of those benefits to the employer.

• Effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
