Authorizes the City of Midfield in Jefferson County to levy an additional ad valorem tax of 14 mills on each dollar of taxable property within the city.

Revenue from the additional tax shall be deposited into the city general fund for general municipal purposes.

The tax increase is subject to approval by a majority of qualified city electors voting at the next general, primary, constitutional, or special election held for that purpose.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and gubernatorial approval, or upon otherwise becoming law.
