Authorizes the Municipal Court of the City of Pelham to assess a prisoner transport fee against defendants for expenses incurred transporting them on misdemeanor warrants from other jails to Pelham's municipal jail.

Fee may be assessed only when a defendant is adjudicated guilty or pleads guilty, and only when transport originates from outside Pelham's police jurisdiction but within Alabama.

Establishes tiered fee schedule based on round-trip distance: $100 for less than 39 miles, $200 for 40-99 miles, $250 for 100-200 miles, and $300 for over 200 miles.

Requires all fees collected to be deposited into the City of Pelham General Fund and allocated in conformity with Alabama Code Section 11-47-7.1(a).

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
