Designates March of each year as Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month beginning in 2013 to increase public awareness of the progressive neurodegenerative disorder.

Identifies Multiple System Atrophy as a fatal neurological disease diagnosed in approximately 15,000 patients in the United States, with an estimated 35,000 additional patients misdiagnosed with other neurodegenerative disorders.

Notes that MSA patients progressively lose the ability to walk, talk, chew, swallow, and breathe over a few years, with increasing occurrence in recent years.

States that no specific risk factors, causes, or cure for MSA have been identified, and lack of public awareness has hindered research and funding efforts.
