Mourns the death of Mr. John Lee Martin on February 17, 2013, and celebrates his life with thanksgiving.

Recognizes Martin was born November 8, 1932, in Grove Hill, Alabama; served two years in the United States Army; and worked for the Georgia Nut Company for 33 years before retiring.

Lists survivors including his daughter Patsy Ruth Smith, Sr.; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; three sisters; and numerous other family members and close friends.

The Alabama Legislature offers the resolution in highest tribute to Martin's legacy and in heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

Adopted by the House on April 9, 2013, and the Senate on April 18, 2013.
