• Commends the 2013 All-Alabama Academic Team for outstanding scholastic achievement in recognition of exceptional academic performance.

• Honors 50 students (two from each of 25 Alabama Community College System institutions) who were selected based on minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrated campus leadership, completion of at least 12 semester hours, and plans to pursue four-year degree programs.

• Notes the All-Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program has supplemented the All-USA National Academic Team Program since its founding in 1995, in partnership with USA Today, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the American Association of Community Colleges.

• Names all 50 honored students from their respective community colleges across Alabama.

• House adopted the resolution on April 2, 2013, and Senate adopted it on April 18, 2013.
