Designates a portion of U.S. Highway 78 in Cleburne County from mile marker 175 to mile marker 180 as the Lieutenant Ralph Byron Bentley Memorial Highway to honor the officer who was killed in the line of duty on July 3, 1982, when struck by a vehicle while serving the City of Heflin.

Designates a portion of Alabama Highway 46 in Cleburne County from mile marker 0 to mile marker 5 as the Lieutenant Greg Merrill Memorial Highway to honor the officer who died of cancer while continuing to serve the City of Heflin despite being weakened by chemotherapy.

Authorizes proper officials to place and maintain markers designating both highways as memorial designations.

The Fraternal Order of Police, Merrill-Bentley Memorial Lodge #79, will pay for the signage for both memorial highways.

House adopted the resolution on April 4, 2013, and the Senate adopted it on May 2, 2013.
