Commends Mr. Kenneth Lee Gilliland for being selected as the 2013 Federal Aviation Administration Regional Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year for the Southern Region.

Recognizes his 40 years of experience as an accomplished Aircraft and Helicopter Chief of Maintenance employed with B&G Flying Service, Inc.

Acknowledges his professional achievements including developing Federal Aviation 135 Air Charter operations, implementing Federal Aviation 137 West Nile virus aerial spraying for South Alabama, and establishing maintenance programs for the Chilton County Sheriff's Department.

Notes his military service in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1992 and his extensive aviation certifications including Airframe, Power Plant, Flight Instructor, and Commercial licenses.

Honors his tireless dedication and exceptional abilities with this legislative resolution adopted by both houses on April 4, 2013 (House) and April 18, 2013 (Senate).
