Recognizes the Alabama Bass Trail as a cooperative effort involving the Governor's Office, Alabama Tourism Department, Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association, which celebrated its one-year anniversary on March 8, 2013.

Features eleven of Alabama's premier bass-fishing lakes stretching from the Tennessee River in North Alabama to the Mobile-Tensaw Delta in the south, providing public access to boat ramps and marinas.

The fishing industry generates over $800 million in expenditures for Alabama and supports almost 15,000 jobs while bringing thousands of tourists to the state annually.

Requests that copies of the resolution be placed in significant stops and centers along the trail as a token of appreciation for the trail's economic, cultural, recreational, and sports contributions to Alabama.
