Commends Gary Stephen Moore on his retirement from Booker T. Washington Magnet High School in Montgomery, Alabama, following the 2012-2013 school year.

Recognizes Moore's career as a professional ballet performer with the Harkness Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet before becoming Artistic Director for the Montgomery Civic Ballet.

Acknowledges Moore's distinguished 25-year career with Montgomery Public Schools beginning in 1988 at Carver Creative and Performing Arts Center, earning numerous national and international awards for dance education contributions.

Notes Moore's family includes his wife Linda Britton Moore, three sons (Christian, Andrew, and Luke Rushing), and five grandchildren; the couple plans to relocate to Colorado in retirement.
